Abstract

The method „Moving Electrode Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy" (MEEIS), which was developed at the Institute of Microelectronics and Microsensors at the JKU in collaboration with KU Leuven in Belgium, enables in-situ investigation of phase transformation processes in liquid, ionic media. Thanks to the high accuracy and robustness of the method, precise monitoring of the crystallization process as well as in-depth analysis of the growth mechanisms is possible.
