diversity4innovation Award - Audience Award for Klarissa Meirer

Our colleague Klarissa Meirer was awarded the audience prize at the diversity4innovation Award 2025 yesterday. The award was presented by Upper Austrian Governor Thomas Stelzer, Provincial Minister of Economic Affairs and Research Markus Achleitner, WKOÖ Director Gerald Silberhumer, and UAR Managing Director Wilfried Enzenhofer.

Klarissa Meirer stands for diversity in technology in practice – with a special focus on young talent. She passes on her knowledge (e.g., at the IAB Technik-Rallye) to young girls interested in STEM subjects and female researchers. Diversity is actively practiced at RECENDT – the best solutions are achieved through appreciation and different perspectives.

The diversity4innovation Award was presented for the first time at the Kepler Hall at JKU as part of the UAR's 25th anniversary celebrations and is intended to send a strong signal about the importance of diversity in research. Congratulations!
