With the QUANTAN project, RECENDT is advancing the development of quantum-based measurement methods for industrial applications. The State of Upper Austria is supporting the project within the #upperVISION2030 programme.
The focus is on highly precise and non-destructive methods for analysing materials, gases and complex components. In particular, quantum interferometry and quantum magnetometry are being further developed. The aim is to surpass conventional measurement methods in terms of sensitivity, precision and efficiency.
“With QUANTAN we are taking quantum sensing a decisive step closer to industrial application,” explains Peter Burgholzer, CEO of RECENDT.
Potential applications range from the analysis of gas impurities and the examination of composite materials to the detection of even the smallest material defects. RECENDT has many years of experience in photonic and non-destructive measurement technologies, as well as state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure.
