#QSL26 – Quantum Sensing Linz 2026

On May 20, RECENDT and Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) hosted the international conference #QSL26 – Quantum Sensing Linz 2026 at the JKU Linz. The hosts brought together experts from research, technology development and industry to discuss current advances and application opportunities in quantum sensing.

The event focused on new quantum-based measurement methods and their potential for industrial applications, particularly in non-destructive testing and high-precision metrology. The program covered a broad range of topics, from atomic clocks, quantum rangefinding and hyperspectral imaging to quantum photonics, NV centers in diamond and optically pumped magnetometers.

In addition to the expert presentations, QSL26 offered plenty of opportunities for exchange and networking. The conference demonstrated how dynamically the field of quantum sensing is developing and how important collaboration between basic research, applied research and industry is for successful technology transfer.

RECENDT would like to thank all speakers, participants and partners for making the event a success and for their valuable contributions to #QSL26. We are already looking forward to #QSL27 – save the date: April 21, 2027…
