Last Friday the Long Night of Research took place in Austria. RECENDT was also participating in the largest research communication event. We were delighted to welcome a huge number of visitors at our station and share exciting insights into our research work.

A special highlight: This year, we were the regional coordinator for Linz for the first time. At 22 locations, more than 15,500 people visited locations in Linz and explored research and innovation.

There was also great interest across Upper Austria. Around 44,000 visitors came to experience research up close – with hands-on activities, experiments, and direct contact with researchers. This shows how lively and diverse the research landscape in Upper Austria is, and how important it is to make science accessible to everyone.
