Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming 20 female students from HTL Neufelden and giving them exciting insights into the world of technology and research.
After a practice-oriented presentation on non-destructive testing, the visit continued directly in our labs. There, the students learned about applications in the fields of Laser Ultrasonics, OCT, Terahertz and IR & Raman – ranging from moisture measurements in food and defect detection in metals to corrosion measurements and the detection of plastics in tissue samples.
The focus lay on the active exchange: ask questions, try things out and experience research first-hand. Our aim is to show that technology is diverse, exciting and full of opportunities – especially for young women.
Thank you to HTL Neufelden for the visit and the great interest!
