In the project "Augmented Reality meets NDT" a novel way – intuitive and easy to understand – to see, to comprehend and to utilize multimodal NDT measurement-data projected on real components is investigated, e.g. laser-ultrasound, Terahertz and thermography.

With the help of augmented reality, the tested component is overlaid with the additional information of the laser ultrasound measurement data, which should very much simplify the visualization and evaluation of NDT data.
