AMATID is a joint project between 5 Austrian and Romanian companies. Main goal of the project is the development and application of advanced techniques for material identification in the field of security screening and industrial non-destructive testing. The technologies applied are dual-energy X-ray radioscopy/tomography and THz-spectroscopy.

The partners participating in the project (2 Romanian and 3 Austrian companies) are:

AMATID is a CIR-CE Innovation Project. The RTDI funding programme CIR-CE – “Cooperation in Innovation and Research with Central and Eastern Europe” has been developed and implemented by the Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft FFG on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Labour (BMWA) and promotes co-operations between innovative Austrian companies and innovative companies from Central- and Eastern Europe.
