HAIQUAM is aimed to develop the next generation quantum-based Optical Coherence Tomography with undetected photons (QOCT) in the mid-infrared range that features an ultrabroadband quantum light sources, a compact and robust interferometer architecture, and physics informed AI to deliver superior axial resolution, stability, and interpretability for advanced medical additive manufacturing.

The project targets a key limitation of current OCT systems — resolving internal structures, material transitions, and micro defects in high performance ceramic and polymer components, including spatially graded architectures.
