The goal of the RaRe2 project is to create a flexible and resilient holistic ecosystem platform enabled by interaction between many European organizations.

It involves collaboration in the rapid reconfiguration of process chains through collaborative systems and adaptive workforce training. RaRe2 will help make the European manufacturing landscape sustainably robust to unexpected market changes, sudden disruptions, regulatory changes, or any type of crisis and change scenario, including climate and weather changes.

Specifically, RECENDT will investigate on use cases whether the inline NDT methods (esp. laser ultrasound) allow a fast qualification of an adapted process, e.g. in the use case with Fontana as industrial partner, where car parts (e.g. car bodies) are tested for defects with laser ultrasound especially on welds.
