Within the framework of this research studio we work on a further development of optical coherence tomography for a use in industrial environments. OCT allows for a contactless acquisition of high resolution cross section imaging in semi-transparent samples, and the main interest is directed towards non destructive testing and analysis of materials.

Our robust systems, which provide information on internal strain in plastics, have the potential as a tool for inline process and quality control.
